Arrangments You Can Eat

What will you eat this Thanksgiving?

For a day that is arguably the biggest family and friends get together of the year, Edible Arrangements owners Mike Post and Pat Coulton stand ready to make your food preparation a little easier.

Edible Arrangements make beautiful centerpieces that can be enjoyed as a tasty addition to the holiday meal. If you need something that says “thank you” to the host of your gathering, the salted caramel arrangement served in a keepsake ceramic pumpkin container available now through the 2nd week of December makes a great choice.

The Edible Arrangements store in Quakertown, situated conveniently on Route 309 near Ciocca Hyundai, always has a selection of fresh dipped fruit and arrangements as well as a smoothie bar, parfaits and fruit salads ready for pick up. They choose prime produce for color, look and taste.

"Our fruit smoothies are made with only three ingredients: fresh fruit, ice, and agave nectar, and the deluxe Mocha Almond Banana Frozen Hot Chocolate is a real hit with our customers,” Post said.

Whenever you order ahead for an edible arrangement, you can be sure they’ll make it fresh that morning. Post and Coulton’s preparations begin at 5:30AM daily.

“When you give an Edible Arrangement, you’re not just giving the object. You’re giving happiness, joy and compassion,” Post said. “And love. It’s more about the gift,” Coulton added, noting they often get requests for bereavement baskets or get-well gifts.

Every day is different. Once in a while they get unusual requests like the surprise delivery to the campground at Lake Nockamixon for a couple celebrating their anniversary.

Edible Arrangements helps put smiles on the faces of local seniors with their weekly donations to Milford Square Senior Center and they support local charitable organizations by donating gift cards or arrangements for parties. A few recent recipients have included: Relay for Life, local school sports teams, Lily’s Hope, St. Isidore’s, and the Coach bag bingo for Joseph DePalma.

Businesses that open an Edible Arrangements account can receive a 20% discount on all orders. Post said, “We have a very loyal customer base that’s grown in just these 2-1/2 years.”
