Need 197 Pizza

Some occasions, like the annual triathlon at Lake Nockamixon, demand such a sizable touch of Italia which Sal’s Pizza Randa can provide.

Unless you have teenagers living at home, your family gatherings probably won’t require quite that many pizzas at one time. But, for over 40 years, the Marsala family has served the Quakertown community who dine in, pick up, take delivery or require catering with its extensive menu of Italian fare.

Owner Sal Marsala credits the success of his business to being family run, but added, “I’d really like to thank our customers for all of the support over the years.”

Even at the height of meal times, customers have come to expect Sal’s welcoming hello and smile. “When they walk in, we want them to feel like home, comfortable so they will want to come back again and again. We want to create a relationship with our customers that lasts for years,” Sal said.

A cabinetmaker by trade, Sal took ownership of the restaurant in 2002 after his Uncle Sal ran the operation before him. “I always had a passion for the kitchen,” he said.

Still, he’d love to enter the real estate business like his cousins and friends who “came here with zero and have become successful.” Customers who have been dining at Sal’s for years may not know he’s a big fan of actors Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro, loves rapper Pitbull, or that he loves to dance to club music. “Just ask my kids,” he said.

Catering to parties of almost any size, Sal and his staff work hard to prepare and serve fresh salads, pastas, wraps, stromboli and homemade-to-order pasta dishes. “I try to do something new each day, to create something new from our fresh ingredients,” Sal said.

Sal’s favorite dishes include stuffed pasta like homemade lobster stuffed ravioli, topped with creamy alfredo or vodka sauce. You could eat a meal of your choosing at Sal’s every day for a couple of months and never eat the same thing twice. There are plenty of options for kids too.

When you are planning a gathering this holiday season or you just need time out from the kitchen, stop by or call Sal’s Pizza Randa at 215-536-2665.
